POSITION SUMMARY An integral support role within the UK Consumer Engagement & Communications Team, working directly with the UK CE & Communications Manager, Assistant Manager and Coordinator. The role’s prime responsibility is to support the team in developing the profile and awareness of Jo Malone London as a leading British fragrance house, working across Press, Influencer & Consumer engagement strategies. The CE & Communications Assistant will work collaboratively with all members of the team to monitor brand performance across Print, Online & Social. They will take leadership of media monitoring tools including Launch Metrics, Tribe & CORQ, saving daily coverage and collating weekly reports to ensure brand maintains leading Share of Voice position within Fragrance category. They will help progress the Influencer strategy and share key insights on competitor activity to ensure brand stays ahead of the market within the social & digital sphere, helping to identify suitable content creators for partnerships and promoted activity across social media platforms. WHAT THIS ROLE DOES General Activity · Provide integral support to the Consumer Engagement & Communications department, executing the global strategy at a local level · Assist with department reporting using corporate media monitoring platforms to gauge brand performance across Print, Online & Social, ensuring JML maintains leading Share of Voice position with Fragrance Category · Support with the execution and logistics of all major UK Press, Influencer & Consumer events within both a physical and virtual capacity · Support progress of Influencer strategy and share key insights on competitor activity to ensure brand stays ahead of the market within the social & digital sphere · Participate in key business task force groups and develop communication capabilities Digital & Social Influencer Management · Take leadership of Social Monitoring Tools such as Tribe, CORQ and Launch Metrics to monitor brand performance and maintain leading position · Identify potential KOLs and Influencers for brand to partner with and nurture relationships · Support Coordinator with the development of TikTok strategy to recruit younger audience to JML · Maintain and update the digital and social influencer database · Respond to digital press and influencer requests via written, oral and face to face communication · Look for opportunities to develop UK presence and audiences on the global social media channels · Explore, identify and stay abreast of new social opportunities, channels, innovations, and competitors in order to proactively direct current and future opportunities. Event Management (Press, Influencers & Consumers) · Support Coordinator with planning of event kits for attendees, liaising with third party creative agency to source all items and track deliveries · Complete a post-event overview for each launch campaign, sharing best practices and recommendations for future executions · Proactively seek ways to improve the Events Programme by constantly re-energizing events offering with innovative and consumer-inspired activities Press Coverage & Editorial Reports · Work with Coordinator to monitor, enter and analyse all UK editorial across Print, Digital & Social · Save coverage on a daily basis, providing weekly and monthly reports on brand performance versus competitors · Utilise Tribe and Launch Metrics to ensure reporting is up to date and all coverage which mentions the brand is captured General Duties/Administration · Responsible for managing large scale mail outs of new launches as well as ad hoc sends in response to daily press requests and influencer enquiries · Monitor press office stock levels, placing FOC orders and liaising with the warehouse to ensure timely delivery of new launches and preview samples Qualifications I,D&E STATEMENT The Estée Lauder Companies’ collective vision is to be the most inclusive and diverse beauty company in the world, and to be both the employer of choice for diverse talent and the brand of choice for our global consumers.
